The Karnataka government has decided to lift the night curfew that was enforced at the outset of the epidemic since the coronavirus has been progressively declining in the state. The Karnataka government issued the decree on Friday, November 5.
The curfew, which had been imposed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on all days, has been lifted with immediate effect, as per the directive. The government set limitations on people’s travels when the epidemic began in March of last year and became severe in severity. Though the limitations were gradually removed after the first wave passed, the night curfew remained in place, with new timings.
The administration decided to lift the night curfew when the number of cases in the state fell below 300 per day and vaccine coverage rose.
