Mangalore’s Shashank J Rai has been selected to play for the Indian men’s basketball team. Shashank played basketball for the Mangalore Basketball Club. The Indian Men’s Basketball Team will participate in the South Asian Basketball Championship, which will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh’s capital city, from November 15 to 20.

He is the first man from Mangalore ever to play basketball for the country. He is a member of the Mangalore basketball club, where he is coached by Aditya Mahale and club president Naveen Shetty.
Shashank gets congratulated by the DK District Basketball Association and wishes him luck in his forthcoming games.
