As directed by the state government, the deputy commissioner and the Zilla panchayat chief executive officer launched the “Har Ghar Dastak” (Door-to-Door vaccination) campaign on November 3 and it will continue till November 30. As per a press release issued by the MCC commissioner, the details of the campaign were discussed with all medical officers of urban primary healthcare centers in the presence of the MCC commissioner, district health officers, district COVID vaccination nodal officers, surveying medical officers, MCC medical officers, and health inspectors.
In collaboration with NSS candidates from all of the city’s universities, MCC has begun identifying residents who have not yet gotten both doses of vaccination. In addition, under the supervision of MCC health inspectors, NSS student volunteers have been deployed at helpline call centers at Covid war room. Each residence will be visited by MCC health officials, medical professionals from Urban Primary Healthcare Centers, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers. Citizens are asked to supply needed information and corporate at work associations, educational institutions, factories, industries, construction sites, and resident associations.
In a press release, the MCC commissioner urged all individuals living within MCC limits to receive the first and second doses of vaccinations and to assist in increasing vaccination rates.
