Circle in bondel to be renamed after Sarvajna

he Sarvajna Circle in Bondel is being built by the Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (Muda). According to Muda chairman Ravishankar Mijar, the Sarvajna circle is being built for roughly Rs 45 lakh and will be launched within the next ten days.

According to him, Kannada literature would be impossible without poet Sarvajna. His poetry is so well-known that he is frequently quoted and his poems are read aloud. A 5.5 foot monument of Poet Sarvajna standing on a pedestal will be placed in the centre of the circle. There will also be a few of his well-known “tripadis,” or three-line poems, on the circle.

This is an effort to raise kids’ awareness of the revered poet. The circle is being formed.
