Construction of a 4-lane route between Karavali junction and Malpe begins

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje laid the foundation for the construction of a four-lane road from Karavali Junction to Malpe at a cost of Rs.70 Cr. The road will alleviate the high traffic density in the area and enable economic and tourism activities. An overpass is being constructed at Santhekatte with help from the Centre,at a cost of Rs.27 Cr and the underpass construction at Ambalpady will begin soon. The project has been a long-standing demand of the locals, and compensation will be provided to those whose land is acquired for the construction
