The Department of Health in Karnataka has given strict instructions that travelers commuting back and forth from Kerala daily have to compulsorily carry with them negative test result certificates of the RT-PCR Coronavirus test.Dakshina Kannada District Deputy Commissioner Dr. Rajendra K V There will be installation of check posts at three of the main entry points in Dakshina Kannada by the administration from connecting points of Kerala which will be provided with provisions for rapid antigen tests.
The District Deputy Commissioner also mentioned that people who have resided in hostels, resorts, hotels, and similar places also have to possess RT-PCR negative certificates and produce it at the check posts.
One should also make sure that the tests should not be older than 72 hours. Those cases that test positive will be tested at the laboratory at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences, Bengaluru.
