The first day of the 30th convocation of the Manipal Academy of Higher Education will include Rajnath Singh, the Union Minister of Defence.
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) will have its 30th convocation from November 18 to November 20 in Manipal. On the first day of the event, Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will be the chief guest.
MAHE Vice Chancellor M.D. Venkatesh told reporters in Manipal on Wednesday, November 16, that Scientific Advisor to the Defence Minister G. Satheesh Reddy will be the special guest on November 19, and Axis Bank’s Managing Director and CEO Amitabh Chaudhry would be the chief guest on November 20.
According to Dr. Venkatesh, MAHE created a strategy in November 2020 for carrying out the National Education Policy (NEP). Twelve programmes of three-year duration have been converted to four years, and 45 new programmes have been introduced as per the NEP.
After two years, the convocation is being held online, and about 5,000 students are anticipated to receive various degrees.
