Heavy Rains Thrashed The Coastal Districts

Heavy rains thrashed the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada and Udupi in Karnataka leading to waterlogging and traffic snarls. Normal life was also affected by water entering houses.

Normal life was affected in the three coastal districts of Karnataka after heavy rains pounded Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada, with little less intensity in Udupi. For the last few days, the monsoon has been active over the coast with moderate to heavy rains, with isolated very heavy rains.

Many places around the city have flooded with water and making it difficult for the people. Also, Educational Institutions in the city has been announced a holiday.
