On Wednesday, Jio secretly released the cheapest prepaid package at Rs. 1. The prepaid plan has a 30-day validity period and is only available through the My Jio app, not the website. This plan is perfect for individuals who don’t need a lot of perks but still want to keep their plan current. The news comes only days after Jio announced SMS incentives for its Rs 119 entry-level prepaid plan.
Update: jio revises its Data plan Rs. 1 Prepaid Recharge, Offers 10MB of Data for 1 Day
The Rs. 1 prepaid plan from Jio offers 30 days of validity and 100 MB of data. After the exhaustion of 100 MB, users will get 64 Kbps of internet browsing speed. If users recharged this plan 10 times, it would give them 1 GB of high-speed data for Rs 10. No other telecom is currently offering a prepaid plan for as low as Rs 1.
Jio’s most popular daily basic data prepaid recharge package, which costs Rs 119, has been changed. When it was initially introduced, the plan included 1.5GB of daily data and a 14-day validity period. You may make unlimited phone calls and use Jio apps with this plan, but it does not include SMS. Jio’s plan benefits were recently revised to add 300 SMS as part of the package.
Jio customers will soon be able to recharge their phones using WhatsApp. JioMart is expected to be extensively available on WhatsApp in 2022, along with Jio mobile prepaid recharges. Consumers would benefit from on-the-go WhatsApp recharges, as per Akash Ambani, who spoke at the Fuel for India event.
