On July 19, the state government approved the return of the KSRTC bus service from Mangaluru to Kasargod to assist the general public, students, and employees. The resumption order, on the other hand, comes with stringent requirements to follow the Covid-19 standards.
The deputy commissioner said anyone who breaches the instructions would be charged under the Karnataka Epidemic Act-2020 and the Disaster Management Act 2005. People should act cautiously to control the third wave of Covid-19 and rigorously observe the Covid-19 recommendations, as per the notice. Passengers traveling by KSRTC or private buses should have received at least the first dose of Covid vaccination or have a recent RT-PCR negative test report. The bus conductor should check to see if the passengers satisfy these criteria. The passenger should act in a manner without affecting the Covid regulations.
