Although the monsoon arrived in the coastal area over a week later, rain did not pour, as was forecast. A yellow warning from June 10 through June 12 was released by the weather department, on June 13 an orange warning and on June 14 a red warning.
This warning is provided following the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal. Rain spreads over historic regions like Mysuru, Bengaluru’s metropolis. In these places, cloudy weather is mostly seen during the day.
