Four days ago, the monsoon arrived in the state and several places received a good amount of rain. The state will experience huge volumes of rain, as determined by the meteorological department, from June 8th to 11th.
On June 8th and 9th, moderate rainfall will be received in the coastal districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada. On 10 and 11 June, however, the rain will escalate. In coastal regions on 8 June, the yellow warning is proclaimed. On June 8, torrential rains will take over much of the northern inner and southern regions of the state.
As the Monsoon arrived, farmers resumed farming activities. On 3 June, the monsoon hit the state of Kerala, with extensive rain in the Malnad and the Karnataka coast. In Shivamogga, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, Bidar, Gadag, Bengaluru, Kalaburagi, rural Bengaluru, Chitradurga, Koar, Tumor, Koppala and Davanagere, the Yellow Warning is also announced. Because at the start of the monsoon, the reservoirs get tremendous amounts of water. As in the coastal districts, the yellow warning warns fishers not to go to sea.
