According to the sources by the educational department, the education minister has appointed an expert committee headed by the commissioner of public instruction to study the reopening of schools in phases. It has been suggested that classes should start by the first week of August.
An official told the media that the report will be submitted to the government either on Thursday or Friday. The officials are planning to start offline classes for students from class 8. They also added that the committee has members from the health department, pediatricians, parents, private school management, and academicians.
The final decision about offline or online classes will be the choice of the students and the parents. It has also been suggested to vaccinate the parents, teaching and non-teaching staffs
