Karnataka SSLC examinations were held yesterday. About 99.6% of 8.8 lakh students showed up for the examination. Previous year 98.4% of students appeared for the 10th board examinations. Monday was the first two papers while the language papers will be held on Thursday.
99.6% of students out of 8,52,191 attended the Mathematics examinations while only 99.6% of students out of 8,43,976 attempted the exam. The previous year attendance for percentage Mathematics, Science and social studies was 98.30, 98.36 and 98.44 respectively. The primary and secondary education minister told the media that the results would be announced by August 10 or 11.
There were 4,885 examination centers across the state while 111 candidates who showed symptoms of cough and cold were seated in special rooms. These students were seated in separate rooms. Around 58 covid positive students were present for the examination. A total of 10,693 students had changed their examination centers after they’ve shifted to different parts of the states. The minister added that no reports of malpractice had been notified.
