The Indian National Highways Authority has approved the construction of a new flyover at the Mangalore city’s KPT Junction. Traffic jams frequently occur as the airport route passes through this intersection, raising demands for the construction of a flyover. The flyover will be built at a cost of Rs 34.6 crore, and a tender for the project will be announced soon.
The road users frequently encountered challenges at the intersection due to the high density of vehicular traffic and cars going in opposite directions. People had asked for an alternative method to streamline traffic flow because highway users were also having problems. With the proposed flyover, it is intended that traffic congestion will be alleviated at this location. the project’s present approval.
