At the AIFF-Nationals 7s Futsal League Finals 2021 in Bengaluru, Mangalore’s Mohiuddeen Mohammed Hisham became a ‘champion’ by winning the ‘Best Goalkeeper of the League’ three times. Hisham, who represented Karnataka in three matches against three different states, including the finals against West Bengal, was named man of the match in all three. He was a member of Group D, which included the states of Karnataka, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Andhra Pradesh.
The Nationals 7s Futsal League Finals 2021 of the All India Football Federation began on September 20th and ended on September 25th, with 28 Indian states participating. The final match took place in Karnataka’s Bengaluru district.
The 22-year-old Hisham is a third-year BDS student at Mangalore’s AJ Institute of Dental Sciences. He has represented his country in football five times, winning three of those matches. Hisham’s first match as a goalie was a 2:0 victory over Meghalaya. The ‘Man Of The Match’ was Manikantha.
The next match, Manipur vs Karnataka, ended in a 0:0 draw, with Mohiuddeen M Hisham winning the ‘Man Of The Match’ award.M Hisham got the ‘Man of the Match’ award in the Quarter Finals Match 3 between Kerala and Karnataka, with Kerala winning the tie breakers (1:4).West Bengal defeated Karnataka in the AIFF Nationals 7s Futsal League Finals in Bengaluru, with a score of 0:1. “When he was 13 years old, he began playing football in school. They asked him to be the goalkeeper because he was overweight, and he finally grew to enjoy it.When he was only 15 and 17 years old, the dental student played football for the national team for the first time. He won all his national matches at the ages of 20, 21, and 22, respectively.He went on to say that he used to get scared during matches when he was younger, but he’s used to it now. He continued to play football in various locations. He’s no longer nervous, and he strives to give his best in every match.
When asked if he was going to pursue his career in dentistry or football, he said, Dental will be a back-up plan, because you never know. I’ll be going to Bangalore for my internship, as well as play for ‘Bangalore C division’ and ‘l League. I want to shift to Bangalore and focus on football and train myself.
