Over 40 lakh in the 15-18 age group are vaccinated

The Union Health Minister announced that over 40 lakh children aged 15 to 18 received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The designated vaccination locations are schools and educational institutes.

Many of the beneficiaries and their parents expressed delight and relief, especially in light of the recent increase in cases. For the time being, the children are only eligible to get Covaxin from Bharat Biotech. It is a big step forward in protecting the youngsters from COVID-19 today. Congratulations to all of the 15–18-year-old students who were vaccinated. Also, congrats to their parents. In the following days, it would encourage more children to be vaccinated.
