The Karnataka government has made some unique changes this year in the way SSLC examinations will be conducted. Students will now be allowed to enter the examination hall 15 minutes prior to the start of the exam, an increase from the earlier allowance of just five minutes. A high-level meeting was held to ensure the safety of the question papers and examination centres, and to address the anxiety faced by students during exams.
The SSLC exams will be held from March 31 to April 15, with 98 centres in Dakshina Kannada and a total of 29,572 students taking the exam. The Department officials have assured that all necessary preparations are being made to monitor the exams, and that each examination centre will have a chief superintendent nominated to oversee the process.
