The Covid negative test certificate is now required for travel to Karnataka from Kerala. The Kasargod district government has decided to offer all necessary resources to help individuals at the Talapady test center. The tests are scheduled in three groups at Vishwas Auditorium. The test results will be available via mobile phones within a day. The report may also be retrieved the next day from the labsys.health.kerala.gov.in website. Mangalpady taluk hospital has assumed command of the testing.
In charge will be the district medical officer, taluk hospital head, officer, and other health professionals. On 5 August, 685 people were found to be HIV positive in the area, and 768 were released. A total of 7,558 people are receiving therapy and 27,906 are being monitored. So far, a total of 1,11,172 people have tested positive. A total of 1,03.034 people are being watched.
