The first self-reliant app of the country has been developed in the Puttur taluk and people can now draw the sketch of their land by themselves with the help of this app.
As there are limited land surveyors in the state, For so many decades citizens used to submit application for measurement and mapping of their land. It was later surveyed by government or private land surveyors. More than one lac applications are received every month. More than six lac applications for land surveying are pending. In order to avoid this queue, department of land records has released this new app.
Citizens have to access rdservices.karnataka.gov.in website and click on Swavalambi link. Later use their mobile number and OTP and log in. Then they need to fill the details of applicant. The name in the Aadhar card and on RTC should match. Then they need to save the same and go to the next section.
In the next phase, the applicant has to click on details of land and fill the required information. Later he or she has to select the name of the seller and enter the area of land that is being sold.
In the next stage, the applicant has to fill the details of purchaser by clicking on the purchaser details link. Further one should click on summary and payment link and make the fee payment. Online payment option is available. Debit or credit card, internet banking, BHIM, UPI and NEFT options are available.
Once the payment is done, the user is taken back to the home page of revenue department. Close button needs to be clicked. Save button needs to be clicked mandatorily. Receipt which contains the application number and details is available for the user.
