Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) has magnificent Christmas installations set up as a symbol of celebration of light, health, and joy as part of the larger One Nation Billion Celebrations. Two magnificently constructed Christmas trees that reach a height of 14.5 feet in the departure and arrival halls, respectively, encapsulate the festive spirit. Passengers and stakeholders have taken to taking selfies in front of the Gateway to Goodness’ Christmas trees.
The Christmas décor includes two reindeer, one for each tree, as well as two Christmas balls, an illumination, and message standees. The Christmas balls are two feet high and three feet wide, while the reindeer are six feet tall. Two lighting standees are positioned on the first floor in the international and domestic security hold areas (SHA), and two distinctive message standees are placed on the ground level in the domestic and international SHA, expressing the same One Nation, Billion Celebrations concept. The Christmas decorations will remain up until January 5 in the particular location.
