DC suggests that all hospitals in the district set aside a set number of beds in all categories for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. If a hospital refuses to treat patients sent by the district government, strict action will be taken against them under the KPME Act and the Disaster Management Act. All private hospitals should keep track of the ILI and SARI patients that visit them. Every day, information should be submitted to a site created for this purpose.
Hospitals in Udupi have been asked to examine the functioning of all types of equipment to treat COVID-19 patients. Before admitting a patient to the hospital, proper information on the ABRK program should be given. While shifting the patient from one hospital to another, all documents should be provided without unnecessary delay.
