To prevent malpractices during the SSLC examinations which starts from March 31 to April 15, elaborate arrangements have been made, including the installation of CCTV cameras in all 55 designated exam centres.
Deputy Commissioner M Kurma Rao has directed officials to appoint examination centre custodians, vigilance squads, and mobile confiscation officers for each centre. No electronic gadgets like smartwatches and mobile phones will be allowed inside the examination halls. The opening of question paper bundles at the exam centres will be video recorded, and adequate police security will be ensured while transporting question papers and answer sheets. Health staff and first aid kits will be deployed at all exam centres, and facilities including washroom and drinking water will be made available to students. Prohibitory orders under Section 144 will be in force within a 200 radius of each examination centre, and all photocopy shops in the area should be closed.
