The district administration has been coordinating its efforts to ensure that everyone receives both doses of the anti-Covid19 vaccine to achieve a vaccination rate of 100 percent. It has engaged the services of the health, revenue, and other departments to do this. The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation Ltd (KSRTC) has joined these efforts by requiring two doses of the COVID-19 vaccination as well as masks on its tickets.
The district’s deputy commissioner has praised KSRTC’s new effort to raise awareness among passengers using its services and citizens in general. The deputy commissioner has urged other departments and corporations to follow suit and get involved in raising awareness about COVID-19 among the general public and has advised malls, cinema halls, and other businesses to print messages like the one above on their bills, receipts, and other printed materials.
