Arjun Kapikad’s directorial debut ‘Abatara’ To Hit Theatres On August 18th

Actor Arjun Kapikad’s directorial debut ‘Abatara’ will hit in the theatres on August 18. Actor, director and screenplay writer Devadas Kapikad has written the story for the movie. Apart from directing, Arjun Kapikad is playing the lead role in the movie. Nikhil Keerthi Salian has produced the movie under the banner of Bolli Creations and Avika Productions.

The movie is a mixture comedy and a social message. The film is an audience expectation genr. The scenes has been shot in and around Mangalore. Due to the pandemic, the release of the movie had been delayed. The movie will be released in the coastal areas, as well as abroad.

The movie will be released on August 18th in 15 theatres including Bharath mall, PVR, Cinepolis, Udupi, Manipal, Karkala, Puttur and Sullia. Later, the movie will be released in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kasaragod, Mulleyeri, Sakleshpura, Shuntikoppa, Theerthahalli, Kundapura and Shivamogga. The overseas release of the movie will be on September 2nd.

On August 16 and 17, the film will be premiered free of cost for the children of orphanages from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

Arjun Kapikad, Gaana Bhat and Christina are playing lead role in the movie. Actor Naveen D Padil, Aravind Bolar, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sai Krishna, Shanil Guru, Chethan Rai Mani, Lakshmish, Sunil Chitrapura are also play prominent roles.
