As per the new scheme devised by the CBSE last year the results of the 10th students will be based on the ‘objective criterion’ developed by the board. Students not satisfied with their marks will be given the opportunity to sit for the exams as and when the situation becomes conducive.

This decision has been taken after the meeting of the Ministry of Education with the CBSE board due to the demand for cancellation of board exams. The similar guidelines are to be set forth for the board exams across states as per the plea of the state ministries.
