The GPL Festival 2022, hosted by the Kodial Sports Association, will be held at the Sahyadri Stadium on the banks of the Netravati River from February 25 to 27. 16 teams from Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala, and Telangana comprising coastal Karnataka will be participating in the tournament. There will even be a floodlight cricket match to take place. The inauguration will take place today. The dignitaries will host cricket tournaments. The GPL festival is planned to attract around 25,000 members of the GSB community.
Heli Tourism Speciality: From Friday through Sunday, Heli Tourism is available. At a cost of Rs 4,000 per 10 minutes, the helicopter will fly under the control of ATC (Air Traffic Control) at Mangalore Airport. Up to 6 individuals can travel at the same time. The helicopter will take off from the Adyar Sahyadri campus and fly through the cities of Dhakka, Bengare, and Mangalore before returning to the Sahyadri campus.
120 people have already made reservations with Heli Tourism, allowing them to travel by helicopter in a timely manner from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aside from heli tourism, there’s also boating, kid-run, lantern making competitions, Jewellery making, mehndi, clay modeling, flower decoration, hair design, drawing, collage, cooking, poster making, fancy dress, tug of war, Rangoli, music workshop, Housy Housy, and many more activities.
