Hajabba’s school will get 1.3 acres land for expansion, to set up college

The Dakshina Kannada district administration is planning to grant 1.3 acres of land to the Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat High School, also known as Hajabba’s school. Following a request by Padma Shri Awardee 2020 Harekala Hajabba, who constructed the school in his village of New Padpu in Harekala Village, around 35 kilometres from Mangaluru, a proposal in this regard was put out.
