Govt designates Karnataka as ‘states of concern’ amid Omicron surge

The Ministry of Health Affairs stated today at a news conference on the COVID-19 situation across the state that Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Jharkhand, and Gujarat have become the states that cause the most concern due to the constant increase in cases.

Maharashtra, West Bengal, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Jharkhand, and Gujarat are among the states where there has been an increase in cases, as per the government, which also stated that twenty-eight districts have reported a weekly positive rate of 10%.
