Mangalore: The CM orders to Complete the first dose of vaccination by month’s end

The Chief Minister of Dakshina Kannada has directed the district to ensure complete COVID-19 first dose vaccination in the district by the end of this month. Special emphasis should be given to areas where the vaccination drive was slow, including Ullal, Kotekar, Someshwar, and other areas, by holding special vaccination camps. He was interacting with deputy commissioners and other senior officials of 18 districts through a virtual meeting.

The district health officer has urged officials to face the challenge of achieving 100% vaccination coverage. With the support of political officials, religious leaders, and MLAs, attempts will be made to reach out to the unvaccinated. Officials should call persons who received the first dose of the vaccination to remind them to get the second dosage.
