The eagerly awaited Dasara Mahostava of Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra, Kudroli temple, is all set to grace devotees and residents alike from October 15 to 25, featuring a diverse array of cultural and spiritual programs. H S Sairam, the president of the temple managing committee, made the exciting announcement, promising a delightful ten-day celebration.
During the Mangaluru Dasara Mahotsav, a series of rituals will take place throughout the ten days, accompanied by enchanting cultural events in the evenings. The highlight of this grand celebration will be the procession scheduled for October 24. The procession will feature captivating navadurga, Sharada, and Ganesha tableaux, adding a touch of grandeur to the festivities.
In addition to these traditional festivities, this year’s Mangaluru Dasara will also incorporate a marathon event on the eve of October 14, offering an opportunity for fitness enthusiasts to participate. Furthermore, video and photography competitions will allow participants to showcase their artistic talents.
Notable personalities such as Padmaraj, Urmila Ramesh, Harikrishna Bantwal, Ravishankar Mijar, and Dr. BG Suvarana graced the occasion with their presence, further enhancing the anticipation and excitement surrounding this year’s Dasara Mahostava.
