Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) placed second in the Best Practice Award 2019-20, which was organized by City Managers Association Karnataka (CMAK) in conjunction with the Directorate of Municipal Administration for their effort on ‘Wet Waste Processing at Household Level.’ At the CMAK’s Best Practice catalog release and award event on Tuesday, October 11, the prize was presented to the commissioner, MCC. The MCC commissioner received payment for Rs 75,000 in addition to the trophy and certificate.
All Mangalureans who have been cooperative in handling their wet garbage in their homes deserve recognition for the honor. they also recognize the contributions of different start-ups and organizations that have led the charge in this effort, as well as MCC’s whole health team, which has been able to bring the finest practices to the people, as per the commissioner.
