She then went on to start her own venture with her late husband, Mr. Girish VG in 2004. Together, they opened Move and Pick Supermarket in Valencia, Mangalore, which quickly became popular among customers due to their various marketing activities and referrals.

Today, Move and Pick Supermarket has moved to an exclusive location in Bikarnakatte, catering to the daily needs of the common man with relevant items. Under Deepika’s leadership, the supermarket has grown and expanded, becoming one of the most trusted and well-known brands in the city. They open at 7 in the morning and close at 10.30 in the night and also does free home delivery for the customers in and around Mangalore.
