Puttur’s Dr Wajida Banu selected to participate in Republic Day Parade

To march in the New Delhi Republic Day parade in 2023 is Dr. Wajida Banu of Puttur. She is one of the seven Karnataka residents selected by NSS for the South Zone pre-RD training camp.

She is the daughter of Ismail and Sufiya Banu couple of Mottetadka in Puttur. Dr. Banu has graduated from the AJ Dental College with a degree in dentistry and earned honours in six areas. She works at the Puttur Community Center as a counsellor too.
