Each year, Mangalore finds that at least a hundred foreign students have enrolled themselves in the colleges of the state. However, this year, in view of the restrictions of the Coronavirus, very few Non- Resident Indian (NRI) students have applied for admissions. Mangalagangothri campus of Mangalore University used to have an enrollment number of 50 students from other countries owing to the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) programme. The registrar of Evaluation of the University, PL Dharma informed that this year had no students applying to the university and they hoped that things would change in the months to come. They have also noted that many students are unable to come to the campus due to restrictions in travel. The college looks forward to students joining them at campus soon and anticipate that it will soon happen.
