Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan will feature Ravi Katpadi, a social worker as a special contestant in its students’ special episode. The episode is scheduled to air on january 15, 2021 at 9:00PM on Sony TV. Mr. Katpadi is a 35-year-old daily wage worker residing in Udupi and works in construction.
He has made his name because of his philanthropic activities. He has donated more than Rs. 52.5 lakhs towards treating children who are ailing due to diseases such as heart diseases, cancer, eye disorders and skin diseases. His financial aid has helped many children and their families get through hospital fees.
He also dons interesting costumes on Krishna Janamashtami each year in themes of aliens and monsters so that he can raise funds for his cause by entertaining people
