Tragic Mishap: 22 Buffaloes Fatally Run Over by Goods Train

Angaragundi, Baikampady – In a devastating incident, 21 buffaloes lost their lives after being run over by a goods train at Angaragundi early Monday morning. The tragic event occurred at around midnight, following a fatal encounter between the herd and the moving train.

The unfortunate mishap unfolded as the goods train, en route from Kankanady to MCF, passed through the area. Regrettably, the unsuspecting buffaloes were caught on the tracks, unable to evade the approaching locomotive. The collision resulted in the untimely demise of 21 of the animals. Despite the challenging circumstances, three of the buffaloes were successfully saved from the perilous situation.
