As many as 17 checkposts have been established in the district, and vehicles are undergoing surprise checks by the district police. The police are also conducting surprise operations and checking warehouses for large quantities of materials.
District Superintendent of Police, Hakay Akshay Machhindra, stated that their operations will continue on a regular basis, and a social media monitoring cell has been set up to keep an eye on social media content. The police are also seizing any unaccounted cash and illicit substances. Checkposts have been established in several areas, and vehicles are being thoroughly checked for suspicious behavior.
The Deputy Commissioner, Kurma Rao, and SP Akshay Machhindra are conducting surprise visits to ensure the checkposts are functioning properly.
